Nintendo Europe downloads 23 August 2010

This week sees something for everyone on DSiWare, WiiWare and Virtual Console with Nintendo’s range of relaxing, challenging and downright difficult games.

Making a comeback is FATAL FURY 3 on Virtual Console, offering brand new moves, plus bigger and better tactics than any previously seen in the series.

DSiWare will see you testing your mental ability with its ancient tile trials in 3D Mahjong, or triggering a chain reaction of colours and points with Primrose. Hospital Havoc will raise your heart rate in a challenge which sees you diagnosing and treating your own peculiar patients.

3D fun abound this week on WiiWare. Furry Legends features fluffy creatures with time-freezing powers and a fascination with physics. And last but not least, a power-crazy robot army determined to destroy the herd of silly Stompies presents a challenge in Monsteca Corral: Monsters vs Robots.

Virtual Console – FATAL FURY 3TM: ROAD TO THE FINAL VICTORY
(900 Wii Points, Neo Geo, D4Enterprise Co., Ltd.)

Released in 1995, this is the 4th game in the Beat ‘Em Up series, “Fatal Fury”.
Previous releases in the Fatal Fury series utilised a two-plane battle system allowing you to move and fight between the on-screen foreground and background planes. Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory has been revitalised to offer a three-plane format (foreground, background and main plane) known as the “Oversway System”. Characters will automatically move back to the main plane after having spent a certain period of time in the foreground or background planes, keeping you on your toes at all times.

Other new features include Combination Arts (the ability to execute combination attacks with simple button taps), Hidden Abilities (superior versions of previous popular Special Moves and Super Special Moves), minor tweaks to all the characters’ Special Moves and plenty more. This latest instalment provides the best strategies and tactics to date in the Fatal Fury Series. (more…)
