A new milestone for Runes of Magic

Frogster invites its 4 million players to come and celebrate at Gamecom

Frogster announced that its online role play game Runes of Magic has now over 4 million registered users worldwide. In over two years, the Berlin based publisher has reached another significant milestone in the history of its multi-award-winning MMORPG. Frogster will celebrate this new historical step for Runes of Magic with its community in Cologne during the Gamescom, from the 19th to the 22nd of August, by setting up contests and demonstrations on their public booth C020/B021 in hall 9.1.

To celebrate the day, Frogster has a long list of activities and presentations for players to share this great moment together in Cologne. Between presentations of the newest features to be added to Runes of Magic, players will be able to enjoy demonstrations made by Delirium one of the world leading guilds who will demonstrate on how to clear the instance of the Demon Stronghold, the lair of the almighty Demon Lord Sirloth.

This very same guild will have to use all its know-how during speed-run confrontations with the guild Pravum from the German server Riocht. The goals of these competitions will be to clear a particular instance as fast as possible. It makes no doubt that all the Runes of Magic fans playing on these servers will be cheering behind their representatives. (more…)

Korean fantasy MMORPG KalOnline holds World Championship Event

The Korean fantasy KalOnline that Inixsoft (CEO, Kim Sun-gu) has been developing announced that the World Championship event will be held to decide the best player in coming June.

“KalOnline World Championship” is the international team battle with national teams from over 220 countries of KalOnline players. As of June it will be held for about one month, picking out the final 32 national teams through matches for national team selection and national preliminary matches. (more…)

Background Story
